My favorite part of The Wild Wild West was the graphics. How cool were they? And then if that wasn’t enough, at the end of each act, one of the images in the four graphic boxes would be replaced by a still from the act. Man I loved it.
And hello, The Wild Wild West was possibly the first steampunk show in TV history. James Bond meets the wild west. Artemus Gordon and James West fought megalomaniacal villains. It was pure adventure.
And as far as arch- villains go, who doesn’t love an egomaniacal dwarf? And he had a wonderfully evil name. Dr. Miguelito Quixote Loveless.
I hated the movie. Hated Will Smith. In my mind, the TV series is the one and only Wild Wild West.
